Texas Latino Council of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Texas Latino Council of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing offers scholarship for undergraduate study at vocational, 2^nd year colleges and universities.

CRITERIA: in order to be eligible for any scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Hispanic/Latino background
• 2nd year student
• GPA: 3.0 or above

  Two (2) essays 500 word essay to answer the following questions:

              1) What are your involvements or activities in your Deaf Community?
              2) What kind of an impact does being a deaf leader or role model have for you in   

                      the Hispanic Deaf community?

   

  Must be deaf or hard of hearing and a U.S. Citizen residing in Texas
  Award – $250 for Books/SuppliesNumber of Awards – 1
  Deadline – July 15, 2008
